Yes you can use a door bow on a new car !

The bows arrive with the wrapping material separately so simply wrap your bonnet with the longer length of material, tuck it under the bonnet is the easiest way.  Then use the bow in the centre, tie on to the material with the attached ties.  Remember the bow is made of a showerproof materiel so no need to worry about the weather.
